The Korakuen campus is located on high ground near "Tokyo Dome" in the center of Tokyo and it is within easy reach ofthree railway stations: Korakuen station (Marunouchi line+ Nanboku line, subway), Kasuga station (Mita line, subway) and Suidobashi station (JR Sobu line). Situated on 6.7 acres of land, eight modern fully-equipped buildings cover a floor area of 57,666 square meters, and form an urban-type campus harmonizing well with the surroundings.

A noteworthy feature of the campus is the peaceful green environment which is ideal for study and research. In the neighbourhood of the campus, there are the municipal war monument and a park with many trees called " Rekisen Koen". It also overlooks within about 100 meters a forest of a famous traditional Japanese garden called " Korakuen", the construction of which was started in 1624 by Yorifusa Tokugawa (the first governor of the fief of Mito) as the garden of his residence in Edo (renamed Tokyo in the Meiji era) and was completed in 1629 by his son Mitsukuni Tokugawa (the second governor of the fief of Mito as well as a former deputy Shogun in the days of the Tokugawa shogunate).

The campus plays host to both national and international conferences, and has an invigorating academic atmosphere.

The campus is home to the Faculty of Science and Engineering, the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, the Institute of Science and Engineering and Chuo University Senior High School.
